I feel ya', thats a sign of a "good brother" or "good sister". They have a strong desire to share what they know to other blacks.
Admittedly, I was like I want to hear some mackin', b/c I pretty much have a deep knowledge of back history, but the show was informative and interesting good.

It is good to see that Tariq is pumping up Professor Loewen's books.
I've been a fan of Professor Loewens' books for years.
It should be noted that the New York Times refused to review "Sundown Towns". The white man does not like to be reminded of his evil.

Another great book is: Medical Aparthied by Harriet Washington. The Tuskegee expierement was nothing compared to this book. Must read as well.

I like it when you do shows like this... Giving the current mortgage crisis what do we do to get over the hump. As much as I hate to admit it if immigrants can come here and get a piece of the pie there's gotta be a way for us too. I don't want to miss the opportunity to make something that was meant for bad turn out to be something good.

Im a black man who hates it when I see other Black folks who dont move on & focus too much time on the past. Our ancestors fought for our freedom so we can enjoy life, now lets enjoy life & solve the problems we have now, we need to know our past but we dont need to dwell on it and spend a lot of time looking back

Good show. You are right about owning property. Hold on to that property through all the generations of your family. That is how white people get rich ... they have land in their family for years and let the value grow ... we have to do the same thing. Even now in tight times ... get that PROPERTY!!!
