Although I agree with most of what Tariq says, I'm still trying to figure out the difference between "asking her to come smoke weed" is trickin...."asking her to join you for a meal", is not???
I know I've heard him on other shows state that if you are already doing something anyway then inviting her along, and paying for it, is not trickin. Following that logic, if you're already smokin weed and you invite her over...how is it different?
I personally don't smoke weed, but know a few brothers that do. In my mind trickin is spending money on any woman that you're not in a relationship with, regardless of whether she is just "joining me" or not.
If we keepin it real and only hangin with dimes with substance then they should be able to pay their own way, especially if they're just "joining me", up until the time that we decide to make "joining me"..."exclusively me".
