You have a point about the Patti Labelle thing. She was really trippin on dude. She just saw an opportunity to belittle a young black man in front of everyone. Dude didn't really do anything wrong. Why are alot of our women so goddamn sensitive? Everything is perceived as someone trying to do something to them. She didn't have to treat him like he was a goddamn child.

In case people don't know...Patti Labelle was sexually assaulted many years ago (rumored that it was by Jackie Wilson)...That shit creates scars. So I understand her reaction & behavior in that instance...I would imagine that being sexually assaulted will make a person pretty damned sensitive.

Even if that was the case she is old enough to not to still react in a diva manner that was ugly in the eyes of her fans. Someone had a quick comeback for her "joke" and got a better and larger crowd reaction. It's a disadvantage to go back with your lady when she breaks up with you because you've just proved that you'll go along with her bullshit. Once you shown that you'll put up with her rejections she's going to come at you sideways any chance she can.

I guess I'd assumed wrong about Patti LaThang; in the couple of interviews I'd seen, she came off as classy and level-headed. But then I tried to track down this bizarre clip you played (y'know YouTube yanked that shit... DAMAGE CONTROL for your ass!) and found that she does this shaming stuff regularly in her show. She apparently bitched out some gal in the front row who she caught rolling her eyes. And I understand she was on some TV show about competing choirs and hers lost and she had a major tantrum.
