This is completely bogus. If anybody wants to talk about blatant lies, let's get started. There were no groups involved, feminists or not. It was only a collection of concerned students (mostly black men, myself included).
No one went to any "Board of Directors" and there were no fliers or protests. The fact that this is being spun into a "women are out to get me" thing only supports the idea that Nasheed is a sexist. Apparently he "automatically knew" it was the black women who were "protesting." Of course, this is complete bullshit.
We believe that the purpose of the events that week (to promote healthy sexual and romantic activities) would not be served by his speaking at our school. Telling us that we're "playing the race card" by the way, is completely racist. Shame on you.
You can spin your pathetic tales of being a mack and a playa and whatever else you want to be, but it's up to us to decide who comes to our school. We don't need you to parade in front of the white kids at our school, telling them how playas play the game. It's not going to benefit anyone or anything but your ego.
Don't hate the playa, hate the game, BITCH!
